At the recent Go Green Expo in Auckland, we had people come up to us and engage with us. While most were delighted to find disposable plates that were a good alternative to plastic plates, a few found that they could not bring themselves to buy the plates because they were TOO GOOD TO THROW AWAY. "We would have bought," they said, "if they could be washed and reused."
With dry finger food, you could probably wipe and reuse them a couple of times. But our plates are meant to be disposable. They may be beautiful and in different shapes and sizes, but at the end of the day, they are just leaf and it is good for the earth when they are composted; even if they end up in the landfill, there's no harm done.
Come and enjoy the luxury of using disposable tableware with a clear conscience.
