Putting up a stand in the Go Green Expo was not cheap, considering that we are but five months into this business of selling palm-leaf plates. But the contacts we made and the exposure for our LOGOS NEW ZEALAND brand made it worth the trouble.
All the stands at the Expo were done up attractively. Quite a few had food that could be sampled, and needless to say were very popular. Most of the stands around us were of that nature, which was good for us as they brought more people coming through our aisle.
We met prospective customers and even competitors, and got an opportunity to showcase our plates and bowls, which are indeed an excellent alternative to plastic and foam.
